Honors students who seek the additional challenge of AP courses should expect to take these examinations at the end of these courses. AP English 11 students take the AP Language and Composition Exam while AP English 12 students take the AP Literature Exam. Most students would benefit from taking the SAT at least twice, starting in Junior year. Sophomores at Bayonne High School take the PSAT 10 in order to get a clearer picture of what it will be like to sit for the real SAT and find out what their preliminary score might be. The SAT now consists of Evidence Based Reading and Writing and Math with an optional essay.
